Girls Get Loud Instrument Donation-- we need your stuff!! September 17, 2010

Girls Rock! Rhode Island is having a musical gear donation drive, and we need you!

GRR!'s first-ever after-school program, Girls Get Loud, starts this fall, and will provide rock music instruction to Providence teen girls. And in order to make sure every girl has a chance to rock, we need instruments, amps, stands and more!

No gear of your own to donate? Tell your friends and colleagues! Organize an instrument drive at your office!! You never know what people have collecting dust in their closet or basement.

While we are happy to receive gear any time, we specifically need gear by October 1 in order to make Girls Get Loud a success.

See below for a complete wish list of gear and for drop-off locations or to arrange for a pick-up.

• guitar and bass amps and P.A.'s (full-size and practice amps)
• electric keyboards
• microphones
• microphone stands
• effects pedals
• guitar/bass straps, cords, cases, drumsticks

TO DONATE:

• bring your gear to a drop-off site (see below) -or-
• email Jamie ( ) to arrange for a pick-up
• fill out a gear-donation-form (pdf) and drop it off with your gear, or fill one out at a drop-off site
