Ladies Rock Camp was a Huge Success! August 28, 2009

The first ever Girls Rock! Rhode Island Ladies Rock Camp was a huge success!

So many great campers.

So many great volunteers.

So much rock.

All four bands wrote and performed amazingly creative and awesome songs. We are SO PROUD of them! Campers also participated in a song-writing class, an art/merch workshop, a self-defense class, and a sound workshop. They got their learnin' on in their lessons, and practiced their teamwork skills writing songs with their new bands during band practice.

Everyone involved was great and super supportive of each other.

We can't wait to do it again! Look for the next Ladies Rock Camp comin' your way in 2010!
